Day 1: Drive to Chitwan. Jungle Safari. Overnight (O/N) Stay
It takes around 5-6 hours to reach Chitwan from Kathmandu. After reaching Chitwan, you can enjoy the Jungle Safari which offers you the chance to encounter the wildlife nature.
Day 2: Drive to Kathmandu. O/N Stay
It takes around 5-6 hours to drive back to Kathmandu from Chitwan.
Chitwan is one of the finest national parks in Asia, renowned for its dense concentration of wildlife and top class tourist lodges, which provide the opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat. Chitwan which means the ‘heart of the jungle’ is among the last surviving examples of the continuous band of forests and grasslands which once extended from the Indus river in Pakistan to the Burmese border.
The main attraction in Chitwan is Royal Chitwan National Park, one of the largest forest region. We can find different animals, such as one-horned rhinoceros, wild boar, several species of deer, wild boar, crocodiles, royal Bengal tiger, snakes and 350 species of birds etc in the wildlife. Royal Chitwan National Park is listed in the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE LIST. Visitors in the Chitwan may enjoy elephant back excursions, nature walks, canoe trips and jungle treks.
